I am very fortunate and feel privileged to be able to do what I love. I am passionate in supporting women and their families during this very special life journey.
I had always wanted to be a midwife. In 1996, I completed my nursing degree with the Australian Catholic University and went on to complete my Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery at LaTrobe University in 1998. In 2003 I completed a Post Graduate diploma in Advanced nursing in Maternal and Child health. I have recently completed an Infant sleep educators course.
My nursing and midwifery career commenced at Peninsula health, where I continue in the role of Associate Midwife manager to this day. Since 2013 I’ve also been working casually as a midwife at The Bays.
I am excited to be part of the Mornington Peninsula Obstetrics team. I truly value woman centered care and developing relationships while providing antenatal care, labour support, postnatal care, breastfeeding support, maternal and child health and early parenting. I look forward to providing the continuity of pregnancy and post natal care this group has to offer.
