Gynaecology
There are a range of gynaecological conditions that you may experience over your lifetime. Mornington Peninsula Obstetrics offer counselling and treatment of a vast range of women’s health issues including:
- Contraception
- Abnormal pap smears and colposcopy
- Ovarian cysts
- Menstrual disorders
- Pelvic pain and endometriosis
- Menopause and post menopausal bleeding
- Pelvic floor disorders and prolapse
Many conditions can be managed in the rooms. Where surgery is recommended this can be performed at the Bays Hospital or Peninsula Private Hospital with minimal delay. Mornington Peninsula Obstetrics offer general and advanced gynaecological surgery, with minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery performed when possible.
Uninsured patients requiring surgery will be referred to Peninsula Health. This provides access to general gynaecology and subspecialist waiting lists at Frankston and Rosebud campuses.
