The costs of running a specialist practice are not covered by the medicare rebates as set by the government. An out of pocket fee is payable for consultations to assist in covering the costs of running the rooms and in particular medical indemnity insurance. Payment on the day of service is appreciated and patients registered for medicare online can have their claim processed electronically at the time of account payment.
