Sarah is a nurturing, holistic obstetrician with a strong belief in supporting women in their birth choices, whether that be physiological birth, VBAC, elective induction or caesarean section. Sarah takes the time to develop an individualised treatment plan for all her obstetric and gynaecology patients, really listening to their treatment goals and preferences, ensuring her patients feel well supported and informed.
Sarah graduated from Monash University with honours in 2006 and undertook postgraduate training at Monash Medical Centre as well as gaining experience in rural and remote Australia and high risk tertiary hospitals. Sarah worked in emergency medicine, intensive care and paediatrics before commencing specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has trained in high risk pregnancy, infertility, endometriosis, cervical dysplasia, prolapse and advanced laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy.
As well as being a director of Bundle Women’s Health and overseeing a multidisciplinary team providing care to women and their families, Sarah has an active role at Peninsula Health as a consultant in both a clinical capacity and as a teacher and mentor to the next generation of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Outside of her practice, Sarah is a lifelong resident of the Mornington Peninsula having attended Toorak College. She lives locally with her Husband and 2 young sons and when they aren’t on the road exploring all Australia has to offer they enjoy partaking in the splendours of the peninsula with family and friends.
