After spending most of my life on and around the Mornington Peninsula it seemed natural to want to also enjoy my professional life here too. I therefore feel privileged to be able to do what I love. Which is supporting women throughout their pregnancy in a nurturing environment that truly values woman centred care.
It was after my first baby, when my midwife showed me such compassion and care that I knew I wanted to be able to give that same gift to other women and I decided to become a midwife. Since graduating I have been fortunate in gaining a diverse range of experience. Providing all levels of care for women and their babies at Jessie McPherson, Monash Health and The Bays hospitals. This has allowed me to comprehensively develop skills in many areas of pregnancy, women’s health and newborn care; including antenatal care, postnatal care, breastfeeding, labour support, maternal mental health and early parenting.
I am now a mum of five and love the work/life balance however busy and chaotic it may be at times. I am thrilled to be a part of the progressive Mornington Peninsula Obstetrics team and be involved in the continuity of pregnancy and postnatal care the group has to offer.
